I agree with Sal that an athlete shouldn't use it to compete, however; i'm 32 and HGH has been helping me a lot. No side affects and no down side so far. I have more energy and feel lighter on my feet. I've lost 22 pounds and it feels great. No offense to Cagney but your only 24 and most people don't need HGH until after age 26-30 when the body stops Naturally producing it. When your 24 you still got it... you'll see.

I agree 100% with Sal... he everyone, my name is Cagney, I'm a 24 yr old man who just started running a few weeks ago, I started only being able to run a mile and half or so, and I'm up to about 3 miles now. The only human growth supplement that I will ever take on is hard work. I lift weights and I have been raised in a martial arts family and I have never once used a powder or any type of supplements... I recommend looking into Red Maca or Peruvian Maca, red is supposed to be slightly better for you than regular Maca I think it just has more antioxidants, but anyhow just look into Maca, tongat ali, and carnitine. These are all thousands of years old and all natural of course.

Cheats are not athletes, tainted glory is only shame in disguise. "Taking something" is the same as poisoning your opponent before a race, it's the highest form of cowardice.

All cheats should be publicly shamed and banned for life from competition. If you don't agree with that, then you are with them.

Don't believe it for a second. What was the methodology, sample size? HGH is widely prescribed for recovery of massive injuries from car accidents, etc. Benefits of HGH include minimizing injury, recovering quicker after injury , etc, and you can't measure that in a six week program or a couple test on a treadmill. Another huge benefit is the psychological sense of well being. As a person who spent several years in the excercise science industry I can tell you that there is a lot of ego and jealousy in the medical industry. Many Doctors resent the anti-aging doctors who are practicing progressive medicine and making twice or three times that of those in reserach or general practice. It is not beyond them to try to destroy their successful industry. If you are taking HGH, take half or eliminate it 3 weeks prior to your big event. That will give you time to lose the excess water weight. Also, having a little more water weight at the starting line isn't necessarily a bad deal...most people are toeing up heavy anyway since carbo loading requires significant water retention. You'll sweat it out during the run and delay dehydration.
